Rogan is a dog that we bred ourselves from the foundation bitch of the kennels Spaceage Cracker (Jura) you can read more about her on her own page.
This dog was our pick of the litter mainly due to his dark red colour but also his outgoing personality as a pup. As he has progressed he has demonstrated that he has amazing drive and a great sense of smell and he will naturally hold an area for a Rogan hunts cover as well as some of my spaniels and he is faultless with his courage when out on retrieves, no obstacle is unachieveable by this dog.
On the 9th August 2009 we entered our first ever labrador competition, a mock trial for the Labrador Club of Scotland, we were very fortunate on this day that Rogan took first place, more pictures to follow but for more details please see the clubs website :-

Rogan has just completed his 2nd season and is now in his 3rd as part of our picking up team. He's picked all manner of game from geese to partridge and woodcock and all retrieves have been executed with endless enthusiasm. Rogan has stayed sound throughout the seasons both working himself and also watching other members of the team on retrieves. All game has been retrieved carefully and he's proved he's got a lovely soft mouth and a natural delivery.
Rogan is available at stud to health tested labrador bitches. (minimum requirements hip score and eye certificate)
